We are committed to Peace, Justice, and Mercy as we try always to follow Jesus and live the truths we are taught in the Gospel and by God who is Love.
We are a collaborative of 4 faith communities, including, the 1030 Catholic Community, Dignity of Denver, The White Forest Sangha, all in partnership with Capitol Heights Presbyterian.
We also have several 12-step groups that we host, and neighbors who have offices in our building serving the neighborhood of Congress Park.
Minister
Mark has served Capitol Heights in ministry since 1979. He has helped build and sustain our collaborative network of faith action in love of life and service to God's justice for our world.
This network includes Capitol Hill United Ministries, of which Mark is a founding member. He has long facilitated our work with Amnesty International, Presbyterians for Earth Care, More Light Presbyterians, Together Colorado, Journey with Migrants, and other groups in common service to a greater good.
We are a small community who have honored the fact that our service goes farther when done in cooperation with many partners. This includes the partners in our building with us whose faith and service enriches the lives of us all.
Our call as Christians is to love our Creator with all we are and our neighbors as we love ourselves. Learning how to fulfill that call remains the abiding challenge and opportunity in Mark's ministry.

As the Children’s Ministry Leader, Debra cherishes the value of children and their faithful curiosity. She has welcomed inter-generational opportunity to grow and build relationships within the larger community, welcoming artists and community members to participate in rich time with the children.
A member of the community since 1977, Debra became the administrator of the community in 2017, caring for the Historic Building, the four worshiping communities, the many 12-step groups, and various other tenants and users of the space. She is also an active gardener, caring for the Audubon garden and others throughout the year.
